Terms of service
Last updated 4 September 2026
These are the terms for using mssgs mail. They are short, because there is not much to arrange: you get a mailbox, you use it decently, and we keep it running.
By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. What these terms cover
mssgs mail is an email service from Deverence Group B.V., based in the Netherlands. These terms apply to the website mssgsmail.com, to the mail client and to the use of your address on mssgsmail.com.
2. This is a beta
mssgs mail is in beta. The service works and you can genuinely use it, but features are missing and things can go wrong. What is not there yet is listed on the features page.
During the beta, use is free. We may add, change or remove features. If something you were using goes away, we will say so beforehand.
We recommend not making mssgs mail the only place for anything you cannot lose while it is in beta. Keep a copy of what really matters somewhere else as well.
3. Your account
You pick your own username and with it your address. Names that are taken, or that we need for the service itself, are not available.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. Pick a password you use nowhere else, and turn on two-factor. If you think someone else can reach your account, tell us.
An account is for one person. You may not sell it, rent it out or pass it on.
4. What you may not do
- Send unsolicited bulk mail, in any form.
- Pretend to be someone else, or forge an address.
- Send or store material that breaks the law.
- Use the service to harass, threaten or defraud anyone.
- Try to disrupt, overload or break into our systems or anyone else's.
- Work around the limits on sending and signing up, or try to.
Security research is welcome as long as you report it to support@mssgsmail.com and break nothing and read nobody else's data.
5. Abuse and termination
If you break these terms we may limit or close your account. For something serious or ongoing we will do that immediately; otherwise you get a message first and the chance to put it right.
You can stop at any time. Send a message to support@mssgsmail.com from your own address and we will delete your mailbox, your attachments and your settings. What is deleted does not come back, so take out anything you want to keep first.
An account with no activity for more than twelve months may be closed. We will announce that by email first.
6. Availability
We do our best to keep mssgs mail running, but during the beta we promise no availability and give no warranty. Maintenance, outages and bugs are part of it.
Email is also a chain. What happens at the mail server of your sender or your recipient is outside our control.
7. Your data
Your mail is yours. We claim no rights to it and use the content for nothing other than delivering, storing and making your own mailbox searchable.
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy.
8. Liability
During the beta mssgs mail is provided free of charge and without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost revenue or lost data.
What the law does impose on us of course still applies. This clause does not limit our liability for intent or wilful recklessness.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. The new version appears on this page with its date. For a change that genuinely matters you will get a message at your mssgs mail address, well before it takes effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
